Ever since 'Rhythm-India' hosted the "Dance for Life Gala" in December 2008, to raise funds for a hospital in India, the interest and fervor to be part of these structured and yet fun-filled classes has multiplied. Arzan Gonda's dedication and love for the art and her students shines through, when you witness her performances. Everyone enjoys attending her dance classes and we all love what we get out of it - fitness, rhythm, fun, and fulfillment. I've only been part of this since August 2008 and I love every minute of it.

Rhythm India saved my life in graduate school by providing me an outlet for my stress, passion, and my creativity. I have been obsessed with the Bollywood culture and dance since a young age and this company gave me unlimited access to both. Without rhythm India, I would not have grown as a dancer in terms of discipline, stamina, and choreography. Most importantly, however, I found lifelong friends in this company that gave me emotional and physical support any time there was a need and that's something I can never repay. Anjali has been a student of a few Bollywood dance companies over the past years since she started dancing when she was 3. But ever since we met Arzan and came to Rhythm India a few years back, we have had the best fit. Anjali is now 9 and as always... truly loves Ms. Arzan! For her Girl Scouts project she chose her future business to be a dance school. She had replicated everything she knew about Rhythm India -- down to the very same fees for the classes! But, what is there not to love?She is very popular among her students and a most energetic dancer! Her talents and rhythm make anyone want to hop out of their chair and join her! She commands her large classes well and is able to teach difficult and fast steps to such young girls. Rhythm India's performances turn out to be so breathtaking, we wish the show was not over so soon.It impresses me at how many students she is able to take on and still be the sole instructor. We believe that is what makes her dance company so amazing... to see how she takes pride in working with everyone herself. She has her eye on everyone and encourages them to do nothing less than their best. She is also very professional in her dealings with students, parents, and at events. There is nothing less than the best when it comes to her show... the photographer, camera man, decorations. Anyone can tell --- all of herself goes into what she does (from every day classes to large performances). We are proud to be a part of Rhythm India and wish her the best successes life has to offer.

My daughter Eesha and I have been with Rhythm India for almost 3 years now. Sayali started with Rhythm India 2 years ago. That was her first introduction in to Indian dance and she fell in love with Bollywood dancing and more than that with Miss Arzan. Now she couldn't stop dancing and I find her dancing in front of the mirror while brushing her teeth to singing and dancing in the shower. She had the moves, now she has the grooves. Ever since we can remember, Rukshana has loved to move to music and could go on for hours. Unfortunately, we did not have any place to send her where she could develop her hobby into anything meaningful. There were no such opportunities in the city she was born. Two years ago we moved to Houston and heard about Arzan’s dance class through friends. We decided to enroll Rukshana and give it a try. Wow!!!! I did not realize that thanks to the dance class I could get Rukshana to do almost anything!!! She knows if her grades are not good, room is not cleaned, behavior is not good, etc. – no dance class. Thanks Arzan, I am not sure what you do in that class but I get results out of her. I even got her to learn her Navjote prayers in no time. In her two years she has missed class once and now I have joined too!!! It is true Bollywood, filled with wonderful choreography, energy and perfection. Arzan expects a high standard of dedication from her students and this shows in their flawlessness wherever the troupe performs.

Thank you so much for being our daughter’s dance teacher and our school of choice for the past five years. We want to take this opportunity to thank you personally for the 4+ amazing years of dance - it has been time well spent. Our daughter Tanaya’s, love for dance started at the age of six. At first, it was for fun and recreation, but it soon became a weekly ritual to the dance class/studio. We are very lucky to have in you, such a talented teacher (and experienced dancer) who sincerely loves to teach, is knowledgeable, caring, and an enthusiastic instructor. 
Your passion for dancing has been contagious and you have perfected the balance of detail/perfection while maintaining the fun energy of dance. There has been no sense of pressure or negative criticism - you have really catered for the different levels of dancing ability while encouraging people to be the best dancers, they can be. I don't think this is an easy balance to achieve as a teacher, but you have done it! You expect much from your students and in return, receive the utmost respect and dedication from them. The quality of dance instruction and the dedication to your passion is next to none.
